
Assignment: Participation in stakeholder workshops; research, engagement, and data collection from government stakeholders; GIS-based site identification; field visits for site assessments; negotiation of site agreements; importation and installation of monitoring stations.
Context: The ESMAP project is an international initiative to increase renewable energy uptake across the world through the provision of decision-making tools. A central part of this is the creation of high-quality renewable resource maps, requiring sophisticated climatological modeling and the installation of a network of solar energy monitoring stations across Tanzania.
